Important Message
Our priority at Lab Services is the health and safety of our employees, donors, and the communities we serve. We DO NOT collect COVID samples inside our Mission or McAllen facilities, ONLY by Drive Thru Services. NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED. This process limits the spread of contagious illnesses including symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). Reasons for testing can include not felling well, travel, work, school, entertainment, or other. We provide low-cost testing for everyone!
Self Checker
The purpose of the Coronavirus Self-Checker is to help you make decisions about seeking appropriate medical care. This system is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of disease, including COVID-19, provided by CDC.

Highly Recommend is a "Video Visit" with your doctor to receive a Covid-19 laboratory's order. If you don't have a doctor, click on Telehealth Doctor Visit & we will connect you to a provider. Call for meeting #.

Answer the questions on the questionnaire below. The answers will be forwarded to the laboratory before you drive thru. Rapid Test information is required and reported in a confidential manner to Hidalgo County's Health Department for review.

Wait in your car to be collected by a certified lab tech...or you can walk up to our front door to get your sample collected: can be a swab, sputum, a blood drop from your finger, or a blood sample from your arm. Unable to drive? Have someone drive you wearing face masks.

Step 5 - Results
Reports for covid-19 are delivered to your doctor within one (1) day of testing for blood samples, up to three (3) days for swab. * You will receive a copy of result by a password protected email. Results are also reported to Health Department for Records. Always talk to your doctor about test results and other testing options that may be available to you.
